I am a retired teacher of mathematics, having taught at Wissahickon High School in Ambler, Pa for 35 years. I taught Advanced Placement Calculus and A.P. Statistics at Wissahickon as well as prospective teachers on preparing for the Mathematics Praxis Test for the Philadelphia School District. I recently taught part-time at Chestnut Hill College in Philadelphia, (Calculus and Statistics) and have had two books published by REA, one on preparing for the AP Calculus exam.
I am the recipient of the 2003 Presidential Award for Teaching Excellence, the highest honor that a teacher can receive in the United States. Even in semi-retirement, I still am committed to teaching students, young and old, the beauty and importance of mathematics and I still love the subject.
Over the many years of teaching, I have accumulated endless exams, worksheets, and projects in many courses. Most of these materials are in electronic form. It makes little sense to pack these material in boxes, never to see the light of day again. I like to think that I am older and wiser about preparing students for the AP exam and I have written a number of new booklets to help teachers teach and students learn. It is my wish that teachers and students have the opportunity to avail themselves to these resources, most of them free of charge, and improve on them.

Dr. Sheldon Goldberg is an extremely unique coach in the field of education. My three children have progressed a great deal in the High School Entrance Exams and SATs through the guidance and teachings of Dr. Goldberg. He goes well beyond his daily routine to accommodate a schedule to meet with the kids in order to prepare them for the Exams in the amount of time needed. It may be at 7:00 am on a Sunday morning, but he makes sure he has your child prepared before test time. The kids just love him. He gets through to them in many ways academically as well as instilling a sense of responsibility in each and everyone of them.

I have only taught AP Calc AB for a few years and have learned so much more each year about the course material and the exam thanks to wonderfully kind and generous teachers like you. You have helped many of us new kids on the block to be better calculus teachers. Thank you for your website and downloads. I will probably make use of some of your work next year.
